In this exciting course, you will learn to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese! We will explore tones and pronunciation in fun, interactive sessions. Topics will include counting, colours, food, family, feelings, pets, weather and some basic conversation.
Did you know the Chinese writing system is over 3,000 years old? We will learn how to write Chinese characters properly, follow the correct stroke order and create some beautiful Chinese characters.
You cannot learn Chinese without exploring the culture. In some sessions, we will read some Chinese stories, visit some famous sights and learn fascinating cultural facts. Learning Chinese uses more brain power than any other language. Supercharge your learning in Mandarin Chinese classes.
For safeguarding purposes, each Zoom lesson includes a brief registration at the beginning which requires children to have their webcam switched on. If your child would like to join lessons but is anxious about this or needs to have their face covered during lessons for religious or any other reason please get in touch, and we can arrange an alternate method of registration for them.
