COURSE DESCRIPTION

Having dyslexia can be challenging. The better we learn to support our children, the better our families will understand dyslexia’s strengths and weaknesses.

If you need a friendly group and inspiration on ways to support your child with dyslexia and dyslexic tendencies, come and join us! Grab a coffee and take some time to talk about your own experiences of parenting a child with dyslexia or just listen to Lette and the other parents.

This will be a space for you as parents and Lette (a qualified teacher and dyslexia tutor), to share tips and tricks for supporting your children in all aspects of their lives. These include :

– Following instructions.

– Organisation.

– Dealing with the highs and the lows of emotion.

– Reading and writing.

– Using technology to access own learning.

There will be plenty of opportunity to share your frustrations and worries and get feedback from other parents who share those feelings and have found things that work for their child.
