A little info about this class...
Ciao a tutti!
This course is designed for students who would like to study Italian as a foreign language following the IGCSE Italian (Cambridge) 7164 specification over 2 years. No previous Italian knowledge is necessary as we will start with the basics, but previous knowledge or familiarity with the language is helpful. The aim is to develop an ability to use Italian effectively for practical communication. The course is based on language skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing, and these are built on as learners progress through their studies. The course will also look into the culture of countries where Italian is spoken, encouraging positive attitudes towards language learning.

Personal & Social Life – family, friends, home, colours, clothes, leisure time
The World Around Us – the world, environment, digital world, shops & services, measurements, materials
The World of Work – education, jobs, the workplace
