“Books and doors are the same thing. You open them, and you go through into another world.”                                                                                                   -Jeanette Winterson

Page Turners is a weekly Book Club aimed at teenagers who are between 12 – 16 years old, however keen readers of all ages are welcome.  Every week, we will discuss a selected book with others who love reading. Each book will last between 8-10 sessions.

Each week we will have fun exploring specific themes before breaking off into small groups to talk about the books in more detail. We can even do some drama activities based on our reading. Reading aloud and drama tasks will always be optional, so you do not have to participate in these activities if you don’t want to. You will need to read the required chapters before each session, so you have plenty of ideas to share!

Please note, all our books are chosen to be age appropriate but also to ensure interesting and stimulating discussion!  It is the parent or career’s responsibility to ensure they are happy with their child reading the chosen book.
