In response to the popular classes for Maths – Stress = Happy class, Learn Laugh Play is now offering a second class for children working on upper key stage 2 Maths. This new class will consolidate and extend Key Stage 2 (year 5 and 6) Maths skills. This class will be different in that it will focus on helping children with worded Maths problems and mathematical reasoning skills. Learners will practise and utilise different skills for various reasoning problems that they have been introduced to in Maths – Stress = Happy but might need to practise or build on their current understanding. What is uniquely exciting about this class is that Nick will be giving the children the opportunity to take part in a weekly vote to decide which specific area the children want to focus on next! So if your child is struggling with fractions or area or ratio or long multiplication, they will get the chance to vote to practise the very skills they need more help with!

Note: This class is designed to run alongside Maths – Stress = Happy, so it is a good idea to sign up for both until your child is ready to move up to Key Stage 3 Maths.
For safeguarding purposes, each Zoom lesson includes a brief registration at the beginning which requires children to have their webcam switched on. If your child would like to join lessons but is anxious about this or needs to have their face covered during lessons for religious or any other reason please get in touch, and we can arrange an alternate method of registration for them.
