A little info about this class...
These classes cover the key areas of KS3 Geography across two years and you can join the class at any point.
The KS3 geography course will be divided into three areas, human, physical and locational geography. You will study areas such as tectonic activity, rocks and weathering, hydrology and glaciation, alongside themes such as farming, urbanisation and their impact upon the environment. You will also investigate how human and physical geography interact through the study of different countries and their population. You will also complete a case study of two contrasting regions and continue to develop your geographical knowledge.
These lessons will be an excellent preparation for IGCSE Geography.
Optional independent learning activities will be provided weekly for you to complete.
For safeguarding purposes, each Zoom lesson includes a brief registration at the beginning which requires children to have their webcam switched on. If your child would like to join lessons but is anxious about this, please get in touch, and we can arrange an alternate method of registration for them.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CLASS IS REPEATED SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK BECAUSE OF IT’S POPULARITY WITH THE SAME CONTENT AND PLACES ARE LIMITED. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP FOR ONE OF THE SESSIONS PER WEEK AS WE ARE UNABLE TO GIVE REFUNDS IF YOU SIGN UP FOR MORE THAN ONE SESSION, AS THAT STOPS SOMEONE ELSE FROM HAVING THE OPTION OF A PLACE.
