A little info about this class...
In this AQA English Literature class you will investigate Scrooge in the gothic horror A Christmas Carol; you will look into the murderous and manipulative mind of Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare’s Macbeth, and discover just why Eva Smith had to die in JB Priestley’s play An Inspector Calls. The course also takes you on a trip through poetry, analysing and exploring how poems can be used to tell stories, evoke emotions and capture history. If you enjoy scrutinising how society works, how people interact and how fiction can reflect reality then this is the course for you.
Unlike many of other courses, the price for IGCSE is £5.00 +VAT a week per student to reflect the amount of work the teacher will need to do to successfully guide you through your GCSE. All marking and feedback is included in the price. You will be expected to do 1 – 2 hours of independent work each week.
