These Intermediate French classes are primarily aimed at 11-14-year-olds and cover the key areas of KS3 French across two years. They are designed with home-educated learners in mind, and are suitable for students who have no knowledge of French. However, the knowledge taught in the first year will be essential to pursue in the second one as the learning points will be stepping stones to progress to the second year. Light homework and vocabulary revision will be provided each week to help consolidate the learning we acquire in sessions.
The classes provide the essential French knowledge in the 4 language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. They are an excellent preparation to pursue french at a higher level with the IGCSE French classes.
For safeguarding purposes, each Zoom lesson includes a brief registration at the beginning which requires children to have their webcam switched on. If your child would like to join lessons but is anxious about this, please get in touch, and we can arrange an alternate method of registration for them.
