Continuing on from our Phonics for Beginners class, Phonics Fun covers phases 3 and 4 phonics. Children will discover new sounds and will have lots of fun practising their phonics. Each week we focus on building a solid knowledge of phonics and early reading and writing skills. This class is fun and light-hearted with lots of opportunities to “play” with letters and sounds. Each week there is a different phonics focus that you can practice outside the class. Children are encouraged to use phonics in early reading and writing and letter formation is practiced as well. If you want a way of “thinking outside the box” to make phonics less stressful and more exciting, this is the class for you and your child!
This class is suitable for children who can recognize all or most of their letters but have limited knowledge of how phonics work.

Next Step Phonics – Phonics phase 5
Phonics Wizards – Phonics phase 6
For safeguarding purposes, each Zoom lesson includes a brief registration at the beginning which requires children to have their webcam switched on. If your child would like to join lessons but is anxious about this or needs to have their face covered during lessons for religious or any other reason please get in touch, and we can arrange an alternate method of registration for them.
